Pastor E.A Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God


Pastor E.A Adeboye popularly called ‘Daddy G.O’ is one of the most profound influencer of our time. He is a pastor and general overseer of one of the largest congregation in Africa, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). He is a great man of God influencing many positively all around the world. Pastor E.A Adeboye is a spiritual father to several general overseers of notable churches and well honoured by top government officials including presidents, governors and several prominent individuals all over the world. He is loved by many and regarded as a mentor, father, teacher and pastor.

 He had a very humble beginning and was born in march 2, 1942 into a humble family. He hails from Ifewara, Osun State situated in the Southern-Western part of Nigeria and married to Foluke Adenike Adeboye popularly called Mummy G.O. He embarked on his intellectually journey as he was admitted into a local high school in Ilesha, Osun State and proceeded to obtain a degree in Mathematics at the university of Nigeria Nnsukka, Nigeria in 1967.

Despite his inadequate finance, his doggedness helped him through obtaining the degree. He also obtained his master’s degree in hydrodynamics (1969) and a doctorate degree (PhD) in applied mathematics from University of Lagos (1975). His drive to achieving these a academic qualifications was a desire to become the youngest vice chancellor of any notable educational institution in Nigeria. His life is a true reflection of possibilities.

Nothing is impossible to achieve, when you set your mind at achieving your dreams. He was ordained as the general overseer of RCCG in 1981after the departure of the founder, Papa Akindayomi to be with the Lord a year before. The RCCG is known to have her presence in several countries of the world and having Redeemed Christian fellowship in all campuses (Nigeria). Pastor EA adeboye is the president of RCF and a founder of Redeemer’s ministry (CRM).

Your present situation or state is not a true definition of who you are. You are full of possibilities only if you don’t let your present state choke your God given potentials, only then will you be able to achieve your dreams. Keep a positive mindset and keep on keeping on!!!
